Refund policy
At TapTrust, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
2.1 Return Window
You may request a return or refund within 14 days of receiving your order. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.
2.2 Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
- The item is unused and undamaged
- The item is in its original packaging, including all tags, accessories, and documentation
- You have your order number and proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation email or receipt)
2.3 How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at taptrust.za@gmail.com with the following:
- Your full name and order number
- Proof of purchase
- The reason for your return
- Photographs of the item (if applicable)
We will respond within 2–3 business days to confirm whether your return has been approved and provide further instructions, including the return address.
2.4 Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item received was damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Once your return has been approved, we will provide you with the return address via email. Please do not send any items back before receiving this confirmation.
2.5 Inspection and Approval
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected within 3–5 business days. You will be notified by email of the outcome. Returns that do not meet our eligibility criteria will not be approved and may be returned to you at your cost.
2.6 Refunds
If your return is approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. Please note that processing times may vary and are outside of our control once the refund has been issued.
2.7 Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Used, damaged, or altered items
- Items not in original packaging
- Final sale or clearance items
- Digital or downloadable products
- Hygiene-sensitive or perishable items (where applicable)
